Suomenlinna, a beautiful sea fortress just off Helsinki was included 1991 in UNESCO’s World Heritage List. This is a great place to have a picnic during summer.
The ferry to the island is part of the public transportation system (eg. a valid bus ticket is valid on the ferry). There is a shop on the island.
The trip will be done together with trainees from Tampere, so you'll get to know many new people! The trip costs 5 € if there will be 20 participants (otherwise 6 €), and it includes a very good guided walking tour for 1,5 hours. We will send instructions about the payment later.
Suomenlinna is one of the must to see -places in Helsinki. Read more about Suomenlinna.
