Trip to Porvoo

Porvoo, the second oldest town in Finland, is located 55 km East of Helsinki by the River Porvoo. The medieval plan, the red ochre sheds, the cobblestone streets and the idyllic courtyards make Old Porvoo a unique historical town environment. We will have a guided tour to Porvoo, which will lead you to the history and culture of Porvoo - and Finland - with enchanting stories about Swedish kings, Russian czars, artists and architecture, walking in the cobblestone streets of Old Porvoo.

Sunday 2.7.

09:30 Meeting at Helsinki Bus station (Kamppi)
10:00 Bus leaves to Porvoo
11:15 Guided walking tour in Porvoo
13:00 Lunch at restaurant Hanna Maria
After lunch visit to Brunberg (chocolate factory) shop

Price: 30 € (IAESTE/CIMO/NOKIA) / 35 € (other students) / 38 € (non-students)

Things you need to have with you

• the long distance bus student discount card (costs 6 € and you'll need to get this in advance, ticket office is not open when our bus leaves)
  With this discount card you'll get -50% (over 80 km) or -30% from regular price bus tickets. You'll need one photo for this discount card.
  
  If you don't want to get the discount card, you should pay the non-student price for this trip.
